Chapter 37. Longing Hearts

Carl arrived home and sauntered towards his bedroom before taking a bath and going to the study room. He had a lot of work to do. Managing big companies was not an easy task and he barely had any free time.

After he was done, he rested back on the couch and thought about so many things that had been happening recently. He sighed heavily and closed his eyes then rubbed his forehead lightly. 

'I know loving you would put you in great trouble, but I will protect you... No matter what it takes' he thought inside and remembered Clara's little round face.
