Chapter 72

DRAVEN

I had stopped listening to what the chief kingmaker was saying about ten minutes ago. This meeting was dragging on too long, and I was eager to get on to other things. He has been reading the Lycanthrope laws for at least thirty minutes, and it was tiring to hear it. I knew most of these laws by heart because my father made me memorize them as a kid, and the kinsmen knew this all too well. Yet, they took their time to read it during every meeting.

I leaned back in my seat as my mind drifted off to my mate for the nth time that day. Her most enticing feature for me was her eyes. Half the time she tried to hide how she felt, but her eyes gave her away. Those round emerald green innocent eyes. There was something about her innocence that turned me on and mere thinking of her now, I could feel my member swelling in my pants. It’s been like that since I marked her. Not an hour goes by that she doesn’t cross my mind. It was getting harder by the day to resist her.
