He predicted the defense stand and the retreat into the castle—it was all something he knew was going to happen due to his expert experience. They weren’t tagged the conquerors of cities for no reason, and all was thanks to Captain Marvin’s battle IQ.

The next phase of his plan was to threaten them in ways they would never forget.

He had to remind them of why they were paying the tax collectors if they had forgotten.

He got to a nearby truck and looked through the cage, which consisted of about three monsters whose mouths were chained shut.

Their claws had been ripped off, and the poison in their scales had been scraped off.

These were reptilian beasts, famous for their razor-sharp teeth, katana-long and sharp claws, poisonous scales, and their unnecessary hunger for violence—the perfect monster to jog their memories.
