Chapter 139

Hannah and the kids were done eating, Hannah took the kids to their room and helped them take their baths, after which she read them a bedtime story and put them to sleep. 

She then went back to clear the dining table, but just then Brandon, who was done working and decided to take a break, was seen climbing down the stairs. 

“Why are you clearing the table? Where are the maids?” He asked as he walked towards her. 

“I asked them to rest their head, it’s been a long day, this isn’t a difficult task, I could clear the table myself,” Hannah said and Brandon hummed and sat on the chair. 

Hannah hadn’t called Brandon for dinner because she didn’t want to see his face, not after what had transpired between them earlier on. Memories of how Brandon had kissed her and teased her came running into her head.
