I clenched my jaw tight as a sharp scream tore from Cirilla's lips from whatever Zeriyah was doing to her and Asher's growl instantly followed, his wolf a second of unleashing but I caught his eyes and shook my head, and his face only eased when Cirilla visibly relaxed.
