I closed my locker shut and decided to ditch the rest of my classes as my headache was killing me bad and lack of sleep banded together with a whiny, upset she wolf and fatigue due to intense training were adding on my misery.

“I am going back home guys. I don’t feel well,” I mindlinked my friends and after assuring them that I would be fine on my own, I headed back towards the pack house while taking a short cut through the forest at the back of the university.

Lost in my own thoughts, I did not feel the unwanted presence of rogues until I saw about fifty of them surrounding me in a huge circle.
