Ryder’s POV

“Where is the package, Ryder?” Great Grandpa asked.

“We have two parts with us but the third one is with San,” Chester replied in my stead.

“Why are your eyes swollen, Ryder? I have never seen you cry,” Great Grandpa frowned.

“I don’t want to talk about it, Great Grandpa. I need some time,” I answered honestly.

“Ok if you say so but let me know if you want any help,” he gently offered and I just shook my head with a smile and politely said “Sure Great Grandpa, thank you.”

“We are going back home, Great Grandpa,” Chester said. “It’s his birthday this weekend so we will be coming back here on Monday morning,” Chester informed.
