Chapter 30. Exams Be Evil

Joy’s POV

I woke with the best kind of pain possible and smiled when I remembered what we had done the last night and how the weekend seemed to have just flown.

I stretched my arms as far as possible and removed the kinks from my back before I paused dead in my tracks as I turned.

I had woken up to an empty bed! And not only that, the clock showed 9 fucking AM!!

The 3 tests were going to start at 9 am and end at 5 pm! I had to reach the venue before the doors were closed!!

Why the fvck didn’t Lex wake me up?!

I checked my phone to see why my alarm hadn’t gone off, only to find that someone had already turned it off!

If Lex had left which he surely had judging by the ‘no-see’ show of his belongings, I had no money or mode of transport to take me to the test venue. Oh no!
