Dante’s POV

I slept in Zane’s ward the whole night with his hand clasped between my palms and head buried in his bed.

“Dante?” Zane cooed as he ran his fingers softly in my hair. “You need to wake up, buddy,” he gently said while continuing to stroke my head.

It felt so comforting that I made a tiny noise of contentment, making him chuckle.

I could smell my mates’ sweet scent too but my mind was only preoccupied by Zane’s ministrations.

“Dante, if you continue seeking my touch like that, your mates are going to kill me right now,” Zane whispered in my ear and that made me jump on my feet in seconds.
