Dante’s POV

“What a rotten bike like its rotten owner,” Joy jeered before retrieving back her helmet from Lex’s presently flaming bike. She had thrown it in Lex’s bike’s wheel just moments before her mate was going to cross the finish line.

“You cheated!” the fallen loser cried out from the ground.

“Oh baby,” Joy tsked as she grabbed her mate and dead baby’s father’s collar.

She ran a lazy finger across his face before resting it lightly under his chin so that their faces were perfectly angled to kiss.

Pulse hammering wildly, Lex looked up at the dominating Alpha with half lidded eyes- lust and anxiety swimming in them.
