Chapter 12. Party Ride

Kai’s POV

It would be absolutely wrong to say that I was not upset that my mate was not going to be there for my birthday bash and I was kinda hoping to impress him in the club.

Although, our relations had gotten much better in a span of few hours after a bitter period of five years, I still wanted him to know how much I loved him and I had been planning to show him that tonight.

However, his health is important too and I can’t be so selfish when he has accepted me inspite of all that I did.

My siblings popped into our giant truck, designed by our Dads- Alpha Valen and Alpha Zarek and headed towards the club.

My wolf seemed to be too excited for some reason but I let him be. I was already drowning myself in misery due to my mate’s absence and losing a chance to impress him.
