Chapter 15. Mated Again

Zoe’s POV

Seris and I easily made it to the basketball team while Nyssa and Maelis waited for their turn.

We were happily chatting away and looking at the girls who were giving their trials. These trials were pleasantly refreshing as everyone seemed to be having fun.

However, the bitch of a captain found it amusing to pick on me and insecurity screamed through her verbal attacks as she ranted on and on about how pathetic I was and an undesirable piece of shit in her golden team.

This annoying brat was surely getting on my nerves yet I decided to stay quiet and calmly heard her out, not even caring to glance at her as I drank my energy drink.

Suddenly, Seris stood up and told the bitch to fuck off and get insecure somewhere else.

As a rule, Seris is the saintly person of our group but it seemed that the series of hurtful taunts hurled towards me were upsetting her a lot.

Afterall, no pack member could hear anything against their Alpha
