Alyssa POV
Something jolts me awake—a gut feeling that something’s wrong. I sit up, realizing I must’ve dozed off after Gray left and one of the guys moved me to the bed. Niko and Mason sleep soundly beside me, snoring like bears that haven’t hibernated in years.
I smile softly, glad they’re finally catching up on their rest, but then reality hits me—where the hell is King? Considering he always sleeps at my side, I’m guessing he hasn’t even made it to bed yet and it’s nearly six in the morning.
Is that why I feel so off?
Could he be doing something dangerously stupid?
