Zoe’s POV
“I feel so bad for poor Valen. I am sure he feels really embarrassed to be seen around an ugly and powerless doggy like you,” I taunted her, implying her shabby manliness.
“THAT’S IT BITCH! I AM PERSONALLY GOING TO SEAL YOUR DEATH WARRENT NOW,” she screamed as she turned back to her wolf form and attacked me.
I ran deeper into the woods luring her away from her thugs.
Her strides were shorter and heavy, which made it easier for me to calculate the distance between us and I ran further away with all the strength I had.
My heels had been long gone and tossed when Laira had attacked me in the club.
I was left barefoot and my soles of the feet ached in pain on the rough patches of the forest.
Soon we were far away
