“He finally started paying attention to her after I shot him down multiple times. I was only 16 after all. She was 18 and so in love with him. And she was so blinded to what a disgusting man he was. He was 19, and a pig. He knew he was good looking.” Sam retorted.

“They became a couple. He treated her like crap and she took it just to be with him. He constantly complained about her weight. She’d even starve herself to the point of being hospitalized. Mom and dad wouldn’t get her help. They feared what others would think. Or they just didn’t want to believe there was a problem. I begged them to get her help. I even begged her. I even swallowed my pride and begged him to not see her but he wouldn’t. His eye was on the prize. Marry into my dad’s family and business. He was seeing other women too.
