I place her carefully on the bed beside me, like I'm dealing with a pregnant woman, she punches my arms playfully.

"I know you wouldn't wait for it." She repeats, smiling. I grin, placing my hand on her stomach feeling her, glaring at her suspiciously.

"How did it go Carla? I hope you are pregnant."

"Come on, don't say that. How can I be?" She jokes. "I took pills afterwards, I can't risk that, you know we planned on going to college and that will have to wait for later, perhaps halfway through, in our third year or so."

"That's just the same thing I talked about with Rowan, we don't need pregnancy yet. Did he agree with you?"

"Yes, he did. He said we can wait. I even think of us getting married on the same day since we are bestie cousins and our mates are personal assistants."
