"What?" He screams, causing Carla and I to shrink.

I hope I'm not getting myself into trouble, I wish I knew he would react this way, I wouldn't even say anything connecting the contract. Rowan asked me to keep this a secret between me and him, well Robert isn't someone else to me, the same way I told Carla, I feel inclined to tell him too but Rowan would view this differently. There is no way he would know this.

"Is there anything wrong?" I'm stressed.

"Haha," he chuckles sarcastically. "I hope you aren't going insane?"

"What?" Why is he saying all these?

"How would you let him take so much advantage of you so that that asshole of a girl he calls fiance would become luna queen, tell me, why should you stoop so low?"

"No, no….not like that." I attempt to defend but the call ends with a ping sound. What a fuck! I almost throw the phone on the floor but immediately become conscious of myself and refrain from it.
