Rowan 's POV

After Gray, the Alpha of Harlow Pack visited me with the accusation that I had taken his mate, I got to be doubtful about taking Sienna. I wondered what he meant, he told me that she ran away from her pack when he wanted to mate with her. He told me she's his runaway mate but would she really do such a thing? She's too gentle and responsible to do that, I can't imagine any girl would wonder when her mate wants to mate with her, an Alpha for that matter. Girls pray hard to be fated to the Alpha of their pack, could Sienna really act differently as Gray claimed.

It's just complicated, I don't even know what to do. This really made me not want to ride Sienna further until I verified what actually is wrong. I didn't want to take what belonged to another man, that would be scandalous for a future Alpha like me, it might even call for my abdication. This would be different if I didn't know on time or Gray rejected her or perhaps threatened her then she ran away.
