Chapter 29. The Reunion
Dr. Joseph's POV
The daughter of Alpha Asterbelle was certainly entertaining. "Do you want to hold my hand?" I asked her without thinking twice. I find her flustered emotions amusing, and that’s more of a reason why I was motivated to tease her over and over again.
If I can get to witness Luna’s red face for a second time, then I wouldn’t mind if I actually died right at this moment.
My brain received some sort of static frequency that made it continuously ache, which made me hiss. I know for sure that there was something wrong with me or that there would be a displeasing occurrence moments later on. As much as possible, I would like to accompany Luna until she manages to get out of this endless maze, but it seems like that’s going to be impossible now.
There’s also a possibility that she’d end up hating me for leaving her behind, but it’s for the best. I don’t want her to get involved with me any longer.
