Chapter 131

Dustin's POV

We soon reach home. We head straight for them. They are all seated in anticipation, waiting for what we are going to say. 

They all hope the news will be positive. We can see it in their eyes . "I will handle this." Austin says. 

We have no argument about that. When it comes to tough cases, he always handles them like he is a king. 

He looks at them and sighs. "What is the news?" Cameron asks him. 

I can see the desperation in his eyes for an answer, a favorable answer. "We talked to him, the council head. We tried to find what it was that made them decide to make such a rigid and unfavorable decision and he explained to us. He told us that the rate at which vampires are killing werewolves in the street is rising very steadily. They even fear an invasion. To prevent that, they have to send all the vampires away. It's more of a safety strategy." Austin tells them. 

"And there is no other way they can fix this issue?"
