Chapter 171

The Alpha Council chamber in Avelon was filled with tension as the seven members gathered around the large wooden table. Karim, Drake, Charleston, and Jacob sat with stern expressions, flanked by three other council members: Rachel, Marcus, and Leonardo.

"Brothers and sisters," Karim began, his deep voice commanding attention. "We have been betrayed."

Drake's eyes flashed with anger. "The Seven Alphas have abandoned us. They left without a word, without a trace."

Charleston's face was red with rage. 

"How could they do this to us? We trusted them, we supported them..."

Jacob's voice was cold and calculated. "They have relocated to the United States. We have reason to believe they are hiding something from us."

Rachel's eyes widened in disbelief. "How could they keep this from us? We are their council, their advisors..."

Marcus's face was set in a scowl. "This is a grave offense. We must take action."
