Genevieve’s POV

I stared at them in surprise. We closed up school a while ago. What were they doing here instead of going to their various homes? Nolan looked like a deer caught in the highlight. They were all acting extremely suspiciously.

"Gen, you are back," Andrea said with a smile.

"Obviously," I replied, walking towards the kitchen to drop my shopping bags. I came back to the living room and met them all standing. Nolan kept glancing around the room. My guess was he did that because he didn’t want to make eye contact with me. Andrea was smiling wildly, but that was because she didn’t want me to know what she was thinking about.

"Are you leaving already?" I asked with my arms crossed, leaning against the wall and watching them.

"Yes, we came to see you about something, but everything is fine now. We don’t need to speak to you anymore. Right guys?" Nolan asked.
