Chapter 78. Heated Arguments

Genevieve’s POV

When Audrey pushed me, I staggered and fell backwards but I fell into someone’s arms. In front of me was Owen who was holding onto Audrey’s hand that was raised with the intent of hitting me. I could see the malicious intent in her eyes.

"Let go of me!" she screamed struggling to get out of his grasp.

"Not until you’ve calmed the fuck down. Take a good look at where you are," he retorted. The music had stopped completely and the guests were watching us.

"Not until after I deal with her," she sneered coming at me again but Owen held her back.

"Are you okay?" Nolan asked me. I nodded standing on my feet.

"Why are you asking her that? You should be asking me if I’m fine. That bitch poured her drink all over my dress. Are you both blind?" she asked angrily.

"You made her do it," Jade replied.

"Shut the fuck up. I wasn’t speaking to you," she sneere
