Dark shades weren't the greatest shielder of identity, so he had thrown on a fake mustache; sitting outdoors on a cafe chair, Salvatore dodged the urge to look at his side and catch his reflection on the glass window beside him.
Three days ago, Adler had given him the shock of his life, delegating a vital job. Enough time to cement his stand that there was something more important the Boss didn't want to give out.
More proof was that the following day, as he packed, Adler had thrown on a baseball cap and slipped into a car.
Salvatore had seen it all as he oversaw the parking of his bags into the booth of his car, thought to follow after the Boss, but due to results from past occasions, he knew it was fruitless.
