Chapter 14. Rescued

As the tall muscular man was about to toss Scott into his dungeon, a voice called out to him. "Zeus!"

Swiftly he turned still suspending Scott above the ground. "Now is not the time, Ares?"

Ares is the god of war, as well as violence, revenge, vengeance, bloodshed, and bloodlust. His hunger for war made Zeus send him to the forefront of the battle that had been going on between the gods and the warlocks.

Zeus is the god of honor, justice, lightning, the weather, and the skies. He is the lord of Olympus and the son of the Titans, Kronos, and Rhea. Most of the gods reverence him as their king whereas some detest him because of how he came to power.

The warlocks have been waging war against the gods for ages. The war was triggered when the gods left the sky to come and make their dwelling amongst humans.
