Chapter 5. The Manifestation

Pulling over across a warehouse, Sasha pulled out her Beretta and inserted a fully loaded magazine, and then handed it to Scott, “You will need this.”

“Not anymore. I got this!” Scott conjured and projected electricity and lightning in his palm and then glanced at Sasha with a smile. The lessons of Nyx were still fresh in his memories. ‘The only way to use your abilities is to think of that certain ability,’ Nyx told him. He can’t wait to kick some ass with the Electrokinesis. His entire life, he has been chasing after bad guys with Beretta but now it’s time to chase some bad guys with his new abilities.

He slowly comes down from the car and shut the door as Sasha followed his cue. “You know vampires have enhanced hearing abilities?” she asked.

“Of course I do.”

“It will be disastrous if they hear us before we get to them.”

“How about they hear us but they can’t see us?”

“What do you mean?”

“No one can fight what he or she can’t see.” Scott
