Chapter 11. Gaining Trust

It’s been over a month now John turned with no contact with his friend Peter. Jasmine helped him get rid of his blood lust and taught him how to be a vampire with a good heart and to observe the new law set by Dracula’s descendant. He has eventually gained their trust that jasmine handed him a lapis lazuli ring to help him walk under the sun like the day walkers.

However, Sasha isn’t happy always seeing John around. There’s a common saying amongst the vampires that most people believe to be true. The saying goes like this: ‘A vampire is loyal to the one who sired him.’ To Sasha, this means that John can’t be trusted with Mary still out there. The sired link can be broken when Mary has killed then the persons she sired will be free to always do her bidding at her commanding. This has made Sasha uncomfortable with John Doe even though Jasmine has told her to let him be.
