Chapter 62. Dreadful Act

The Baroness was snarling when two of her guards rushed into the throne hall. She has fang out and her eyes have turned red and ready to prey. The guards were terrified seeing her in that state as one of them summoned the courage to speak. “Baroness, you called for us. Are you alright?”

Seeing her guards were terrified because of her fangs, she quickly turns off the fangs and her red eyes. “Yes, I called for you. I thought I saw someone who has endangered my life many times.”

The Baroness’ eyes didn’t deceive her. She did see witch Neena but within a twinkling of an eye, she was seen no more. She was standing right at the entrance of the door of the throne hall staring at her.

“Forgive me, Baroness, we have been standing by the hallway that leads to the throne hall but we saw no one leaving or entering.”

“I know what I saw.”

“Should we initiate a search for the person you saw?”

“Not necessary. I will find her myself. You two can go now.”
