Hazel's POV

"You have finally made the knocker go away."

I was snuggled into his arms, his body cushioning mine. I was filled with contentment and happiness. I couldn’t tell why I was happy, but I was.

"You should be happy. The Alpha had just taken us to cloud nine and back; that’s enough reason to be elated. I sure am." Lia said it with total satisfaction.

"They weren’t patient enough. Seducing you was more important."

"Aha! Finally, you agree to seduce me first." I told him cheekily.

"Be careful what you accuse your Alpha of; else you might just be punished." He didn’t sound threatening; I could detect the humour, and I was more than willing to go all the way with him on this.

"And what kind of punishment will your humble servant be receiving?"

"You’re not my servant, but I won’t tell you what it is."

"So how do I ever find out what this punishment is?"

"You’ll have to be in my bad book first of all."
