Hazel's POV

I was wrapped in an embrace with the Alpha, both of us sleeping peacefully, when I heard a knock on the door. I stirred awake and opened my eyes. The curtains were drawn open a bit, and the streak of the morning sun—young and bright—through the open space penetrated my eyes immediately. I blocked my eyes with my hand to protect them from the light.

I looked at the Alpha. He was still asleep. Memories of what had happened that morning swamped me, and I flushed even when no one was watching. I observed our situation; we were naked. Whoever was there would have waited a bit longer.
