Hazel's POV

"I hope this will bring back the balance between both worlds," I said to the Alpha as we entered the human world.

Everywhere was strange to me. Unfamiliar and new. I couldn’t remember living the first five years of my life here.

"I hope so too. Where do we start from?"

"Anywhere."

"I hope Aunty Mia is right."

"When is she ever wrong?"

She had told us that the only way to bring back the balance was to engage in a charitable activity for the next twenty-four hours. To help any human we see, be it old or young, male or female. It wasn’t as difficult as I’d thought.

"That’s true."

I spotted an old man trying to carry his groceries, but the bag wouldn’t stop spilling what he’d bought. I nudged the Alpha.

"Our first charity work."

Then we went to the man and helped him with his groceries. The Alpha wouldn’t let me carry anything and said I was in a sensitive condition to be carrying anything now
