Chapter 168

Hazel's POV

It was noon the next day before Alpha and I woke up. We had gotten home very late last night and were very tired by the time we got home.

The knock that came woke us up.

"Who is that?" The Alpha asked groggily.

"Tell that person to go away."

He drew me closer, and we went back to sleep.

The knock came again.

The Alpha groaned in annoyance. He reluctantly stood and went to open the door. I adjusted myself to sleep more; I wasn’t going to stand up until I was done sleeping.

"Good morning, Aunty Mia."

My eyes shot open immediately. And I quickly slid off the bed and went to the door to stand beside the Alpha.

"Good morning, Mama Mia."

"You both are still sleeping?"

"We came back very late last night. It wasn’t an easy task that we were sent to do," the Alpha said this in defence.

"Hm. I’ll be waiting for you in the meeting room. Be with me as fast as you can."
