Adams POV

Mum was finally out of the hospital and I was more than happy to know that she was doing okay even though she wasn't on talking terms with me because I had driven Topaz away.

I also felt bad  I missed her.

Ever since I sent her the divorce papers, she hadn't said anything, not even a call or a text and my lawyer had told me that he had given her the papers 4 days ago.

Did he make the right decision by sending her away and sending the divorce papers for her to sign?

I  hadn't heard from her and twice I had driven by her shop but I didn't see her there.

I just hoped she was doing well. I still loved her deeply and wanted her back. Andrea had recently been making advances at me but I honestly wasn't in the right frame of mind for her seductions right now.

The last time she came, I had to tell her to her face to leave me alone it was like she wasn't getting the hints I'd been trying to tell her that I wasn't interested either
