Chapter 58

Topaz's POV

I wanted to make sure of my results, so I rushed to the hospital for a proper checkup. Sometimes, those test strips were faulty so I had to do a proper blood test.

I finally switched on my phone and I didn't see any missed call from Adams.

I wondered how he was doing, if he was okay or if he was still in a bad temper. I opened my camera and glanced through the numerous pictures we had taken together and the ones I had taken of him alone.

It had been 5 days since the incident and I missed seeing his face especially when he slept.

I looked at a particular picture I took of him when he was sound asleep with fluffy Adams in his arms.

I zoomed the picture and took a closer look at his face. His lawyer had finally gotten to me with the divorce papers and the various Claus for me to abide by before I see Michelson.

I wasn't even ready to sign those papers and honestly, I didn't have the time because I was seriously down with this issue
