“Would you like to order now, miss,” my waiter for the night, a handsome young lad in his early twenties said for the tenth time tonight.

I looked up from where am lazily scrolling through Instagram on my phone and smiled at him. “I'm sorry but my friend is still not here yet. I wouldn't want to order without her, so we would order the moment she gets here.”

Mr. Handsome waiter smiled back at me before he sauntered away to attend to other customers who were really intent on ordering.

I exited the Instagram app to check my messages once again, but I came up with nothing new from Gwen.

“You've gotta be kidding me,” I muttered under my breath. Was this some kind of a prank? 

I thought back to the previous days back in the apartment to know if I had somehow gotten on Gwen's nerves to warrant this.
