Chapter 144. Birthday Surprise

This has been the best night and the best birthday ever. I do not feel too drunk; I am happy, alert, and calm, but also buzzed.

It looks like all three of our friends got a phone number tonight as well. Nash and I had a lot of time to ourselves.

I see that people are leaving, and I sigh, knowing it is probably time for me to go home. The bar will close in about 30 minutes, and it is almost 3 a.m.

Abby asks as we wait in line for our coats, "You want to go somewhere else?" I sigh and shake my head.

I was ready to eat something greasy, drink a glass of water, and get into bed with Nash. We joked about having sex, but with all of our roommates home, that was not possible. I would give up on it, and all I wanted to do was relax and take it easy for the night.
