Chapter 150. I Stay
I got my email at last.
Doctor Binkley told me that I have a spot, but I am still afraid to open it. I probably should have waited until I was alone to even open the email, but I cannot wait, so I am opening it on my way out of class.
I open the email and read the first few lines right away. But at the top, in a big box, it says "Congratulations!" and "Welcome!" My beating slows down right away, and I feel a wave of relief wash over me as I hold my phone to my chest.
It is true, next year I will be at Brown. So, I stay at the school I know, with my family, and with Nash, of course. We could start a real life together, but still spend time with our friends and study. I remember how bad that month was at Northwestern, how much I missed him, and how I always felt like I had no one to help me.
I would have to send a text message to my parents to tell them what was going on. They knew I was waiting to hear from them, and I knew they were eager
