Chapter 147. Make Everything Work
The shower is long, but I need it. Washing my hair and taking off the last of my makeup feels like a restart. When I get out, I blow-dry my hair with a round brush to dry and style it. Then I brush my teeth and do my skin care before going back to get dressed and put on makeup.
I walk by Nash’s room and see that his door is closed, so I think he is also getting ready. I put on a pair of black pants and a white square-neck top with long sleeves because I do not know where we are going. Then I choose some jewelry and put on a little bit of concealer and mascara.
When I am ready, I walk across the hall to his door and knock. "Come in!" I hear him calling, so I open his door. What I see makes my heart explode: all of my clean, dry stuff on his bed, most of it folded.
"Hey, I do not know how you fold your shirts that way in your drawers," he mumbles, holding up one of my t-shirts. "But I folded everything else, except for what you told me not to
