My heart was beating hard, I’m not going to lie, I was scared of his man. I was still confused as to why he would let me know he was not straight and then threatened me to keep the secret. 

Anyway, I followed his lead until we were in the office of Darco. The dark alpha was alone and did not lift his head from his computer on his desk until Gabriel cleared his throat. “Sir, here is the omega.” 

Darco stared at me, almost as if he was trying to look into my soul. I always felt that way when he would look at me. “Leave us,” He said to Gabriel without breaking eye contact with me.
