Chapter 90. Melatonin

It was now night and I was in my room in the villa. I could not sleep and kept staring at the ceiling, wondering what was going on outside. 

I could hear some yelling going on but they were all muffled and so I could not really make out the words or what they saying. But I knew that it was Vanessa and Zach going at it. 

I already knew her place when it came to all of this, she hated me. And I knew that she felt like I had stolen something that belonged to her—the position as Luna of the pack, and Zach’s mate. I knew that she was going to work with the elders to make sure that that would never happen—that I would never be Luna of the pack. 

I tried to cover my ears but I would then stop myself. There was no escaping so why should I try to act like I could do that? And the crazy part was that this was only the beginning.
