Mara’s lips still burned, swollen from his mouth, her body pinned between the wall and his hard frame. She could barely remember how to breathe. His scent clung to her—leather, heat, something uniquely male—and she couldn’t get enough of it.
Her mind screamed warnings, but her body betrayed her with every throb of need.
He hadn’t let her go. His fingers still gripped her thigh, his touch hot through the thin satin as he held her leg up against his waist. His hardness pressed into her belly, undeniable, making her pulse skip and her skin flush.
“I shouldn’t be here,” he murmured against her mouth, though his voice was thick with hunger.
“Then leave,” she whispered, breathless. But she didn’t push him away.
His eyes burned into hers, dark and dangerous. “You don’t want me to", he said with certainty. "You want me to stay and have you... to fuck you".
The denial died on her tongue. She couldn’t lie, not with his hand
