Isla's POV:

I loved interacting with my wolf. It didn't make me feel lonely and a crybaby. I noticed lots of servants in the palace were running around. They appeared too busy and tense for something. I had felt the same thing when I was in the kitchen. There were more than enough maids too.

I saw a group of maids carrying baskets of flowers and others had decoration lights with them.

"Hey! " I said to one of the maids who was passing by me.

"Yes? " She asked in a hurry.

"Is there something happening in the pack? " I asked.

She stared at me with a funny look and looked around herself like I told her the biggest joke and everyone else missed it.

"Where do you live? Come out of your la la land. Everybody in the pack is so excited because it's Alpha's Birthday tomorrow. " She told me.
