Chapter 54. Practice After School

Kavinsky walked back to class and saw Kaylee sitting with Anna.

It seemed like Kaylee had told Anna about it because it seemed to Kavinsky that Anna was comforting her.

He walked towards them and Kaylee looked down at her fingers.

"Please excuse us", Kavinsky said to Anna and Anna nodded in understanding.

Anna stood up and Kavinsky sat down on the seat she sat on before he arrived.

"It was because of you", Kaylee said immediately after he sat down.

"I know", he replied with a frustrated sigh.

"I broke up with her", Kavinsky said again in a very calm tone after some time. 

"What? Why?", Kaylee asked as she turned her head up sharply to look at him in surprise.

"If it is because of me, you shouldn't have. I will be fine", Kaylee added quickly.

"No, it's not because of you. I am tired of the relationship anyways and I never loved her", he said with a shrug.
