“In case we have met before and I have forgotten your names!” she said eagerly, her eyes sparkling. “I want to know everyone here. You’ve all been so nice to me.”
The maids exchanged a flurry of confused looks; none of them dared to speak first.

The others hesitated, then stammered their names one by one.

“Hannah.”

Aria repeated each name softly under her breath, as if trying to memorize them.
