Chapter 19. A Lie
We heard Aria’s voice call from upstairs, probably from her room.
“Well, you should go and find out what the wildcat needs,”
Emily suggested.
I nodded and walked out of the kitchen.
“Titan!”
She yelled again.
I followed the sound and climbed the stairs.
When I reached her bedroom door, I knocked gently.
“Come in, jeez!”
She replied.
I slowly pushed the door open.
The scent of the room hit me that instant—it smelt so sweet, like too many air fresheners mixed with expensive perfume.
As I stepped inside Aria’s room, I froze for a second.
It was huge, warm, cozy, and undeniably feminine.
Neon lights from her vanity bathed everything in a soft pink glow.
Her queen-sized bed was positioned in the center, dressed in deep purple silk, with velvet curtains hanging around it like something out of a fairy tale.
I don't remember ever being in a female room, so it felt so strange—and so pink.<
