As soon as the goddess left, the weight of her powers disappeared and Percy and the others dropped with a heavy thud on the forest ground. They immediately ran to her to make sure she was okay but none of them could touch her. Maggie opened her eyes and realized there was awe in their gazes.
She groaned and raised her hand to her head where the goddess had kicked her. Even though she was mad at herself for being weak and at the goddess for being so merciless, she was in awe of the woman whose combat skills were nothing like she had ever seen. The goddess was more than that, she was a woman with experience in battle and Maggie could tell because of her quick strategy while they fought and the weight of her leg when it made an impact on her head.
