Chapter 127. We Have to Be Careful

Keira’s POV

“Okay, Keira, how are you feeling today? Are you still feeling anxious?”

I looked up at Clint from the chair I sat on. I took a deep breath, exhaling as my eyes trailed back to the ground. “Yes, I am still feeling very anxious.”

“Can you tell me why?”

 My mind replayed the text message and Calvin’s appears again, along with the photos he had shown me. This was something Clint had to hear.

“I saw Calvin today,” I said, looking at Clint.

Clint’s eyes were wide, and his face had taken on a look of seriousness. “What did he say to you? Did he hurt you?”

I shook my head. “He did not hurt me, but he had shown me more pictures he had of us. That one picture was not the only one in his custody.”
