Chapter 64. Creepy Encounters

I followed the waitress out of the hall and to the back of the magnificent building, where the restroom was oddly located.
Whoever designed this building had to have had something up their sleeves. I thought to myself in amusement the second we reached our destination.
Murmuring my thanks as the young lady took her to leave, I pushed the large door open to reveal a restroom with no one inside.
It was deserted. Well, lucky me! As I stepped in, I mused again, a small smile on my lips.
In as much as I was a bit pressed, as I'd told Robert earlier, I also needed some privacy and time to myself after the events that had transpired since we'd arrived at the masked party.
I'd acted fine and composed all night, but deep down; I was shaking with nerves.
This was something I expected. I mean, I'd even prepared myself for whatever might happen tonight, but it didn't stop me from feeling completely
