Chapter 92. Open the Door

Lucien hurries out of the court to meet Anna in the car, but paused in his steps when he spotted her sitting on one of the steps of the long flight of stairs that led up to the entrance of the building.

"Bunny?" He went and squared next to her.

Anna turned her head to him and he saw her eyes were red with tears. "I'm going to ask you this once, and you better not lie to me."

Lucien's breath hitched. She knew; that was the only thing that rang in his head. He nodded at her words and she sniffed.

"Did you cheat on me?" She asked, her lips trembling. Tears streamed freely down her cheeks, wetting her chin but she wiped at them with the back of her palms quickly.
