Chapter 90. Did You Fight?

In the car taking them home, Anna had questions she wanted to ask Lucien but she couldn't, not while the driver was just an ear away. She sighed and looked out the window on her side.

Lucien placed his hand on her bare thighs sticking out from her slit dress. Anna turned to him, then cast an eye on his hand without a word. It was his left hand on her right thigh. She stared at the shiny gold ring in his ring finger then looked back out the window.

Lucien slowly withdrew his hand, but didn't take away his eyes from her. He wished he could precisely read through each and every thought going through her mind at the moment
